Merry Monday 2 week Challenge

I made this card following the Merry Monday Sketch #9.  I used Garden Green, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla Cardstock with Frostwood lodge DSP.  The image is in Garden Green with the sentiment stamped in Versamark and embossed with Early Espresso.  The ribbon is Cherry Cobbler.  The stamp set I used was Christmas Lodge.  I used the scallop punch on the bottom edge of the Soft Suede cardstock, but it's a little hard to see:)  I really enjoyed making this card and hope you enjoy!

Snowflake Card

This card is a case of one I made at a card class a few years ago held by a demonstrator named Janet Elam.  I changed mine to Marina Mist instead of the dark blue color she had used.  Also different are my choice of snowflake on the small square since I didn't have the one she originally used and also my white bow on the blue ribbon instead of some silver tinsel ribbon that she had wound around the blue ribbon.  Such an easy card to make though so I made a couple.

Silver and Eggplant Card

This is a different version of the previous card where I decided to add two more smaller ornaments to the front.  I cut one smaller from the silver glitter paper and added a 1/8 inch grograin ribbon bow.  The other ornament that is somewhat hidden by the white bow is stamped in versamark and embossed in silver embossing powder and tied at the top with the silver stretchy twine from Stampin' Up.  I also used the twine to make the strings the ornaments hang by up over the white piece of the card.  I secured those on the back with glue dots.  I love the look on this one except maybe next time, would leave off the white bow, so as to better see all three ornaments.

Elegant Eggplant Christmas Card

This card idea is a case of one I saw on the blog Me My Stamps and I by Chat Wszelaki at memystampsandi.blogspot.com.  I made a few changes like sponging around the white with the eggplant ink and also my phrase below is in a shaped piece with two of the rhinestone jewels on either end of Merry Christmas.  I also used a white ribbon instead of the eggplant because I didn't have any eggplant ribbon of the type I wanted.  I love the way this turned out.
